Was back from my BKK trip on 6th Jan, dear and I took another leave on the 7th & we were back at work on the 8th. Auditors will be coming in soon, thus, am currently occupied with ensuring that my marketing budget / invoices are in place & tally with one another.
My BBK trip was not bad afterall, except for some hiccups along the way.
(really big ones though, no worries, not abt dear & me!) It was a “shop-till-you-drop” trip and our legs were damn tired from all the shopping. It was my first time tired out from all the shopping & shopped till sian! HAha! There’re simply too many things to buy & we had too little time to cover everywhere. What’s more…limited funds as well.
We wanted to visit some places besides shopping, but we didn’t make it. The girls were too preoccupied with their shopping! Well, at least I got to watch the “tiger show”!! The place was ¾ filled with angmohs. Haha! N It’s so fascinating how much the ladies can do! Our eyes & mouth were basically wide-opened throughout the performance. But it’s something you would only want to watch it once. =) All I can say is: It’s an eye-opener!!
Dear & I planned, for the next round, we gonna spend more time visiting some other places, doing some other things besides shopping. We wanted to go Pettaya (beach resort), condom restaurant, go for thai massages, river stalls or even visit their temple. Well, BKK can wait for the moment, our next target would be either Redang in April or Taiwan / Hongkong in late year. It’s much dependent on whether we are able to save from our earnings. Heez.

Yup..it’s a new year, meaning I am another year older. =/ New year resolutions? Nothing special but:
1) To find a job that I REALLY like + with a reasonable salary.
2) To be able to accumulate my savings, sufficient for my family, berry & for my holiday trips. (this is tough, considering I have to start from 0)
3) To be able to repay my study loan as planned on a monthly basis.
4) To improve my relationship with my family, as well as dear’s family. =)
5) To improve my relationship with dear, be more understanding.
6) To have effective time management –strike a balance between work & recreation (dance / sports)
7) To have constant gatherings with friends. (you know who you are!)
8) To visit the dentist (yes, it might be something common for you, but I can’t remember when was the last time I visited one.)
9) To fix my hopeless hair. (I need to decide what I want.)
I guessed that’s about it….for now.
I didn’t “accomplish” much in year 2007, except for spending my account till zero. HAha! But seriously, my greatest relieve is to be able to pass all my modules & am waiting for the graduation ceremony in aug/sept 2008. Having mixed feelings to step out of the education ground.
Oh…N…yah…dear’s family is cute. His parents actually hope to see us ROM within this year. They even asked dear to approach my father, to ask for permission to marry me. HAha! Although dear & I are ready, we’re not financially. So…we shall see how ar…=) We’ve started to look out for HDB flats & stuff though, wanted to keep abreast of the available locations & rates, etc.
Talking abt that, congrats to Huizi & Reagan! Attended their wedding on 10th Jan @ Dragon Gate Restaurant:
Anyway, am so excited to start my hip hop classes again, now with 2 new instructors! We will be having lessons on wed & sat, Ms Foo hopes to train us to become the performing team for Dancepointe. From our current stage, I doubt we can do a good job, but hopefully we’ll be up to it in the near future! =)

First of all...

New Year 2007 Countdown @ Juan's place - 31st Dec 2007Had a simple gathering with juan, yunxin, ying, wk, dear & me @ Juan's place. Played "Cluedo" for abt 2hrs b4 the countdown & watched fireworks from her place! It's from the countdown party @ Boon Lay! So nice! =)Brought Berry along to make friends with Chilli (juan's dog) & ended up both of them keep chasing 1 another. HAha! Furthermore, it's Chilli (female) who keeps chasing after Berry (male)!
Clemen's Chalet @ Pasir Ris - 28th Dec 2007So Sorry! Didn't managed to go for his chalet as planned as I was seriously down with fever & flu. Was so looking forward to it as it had been zillion yrs since we last had the chance to have chalet together. I hope this chance comes soon again. Paisey guys! =(

Christmas BBQ @ Yang's Place - 25th Dec 2007It's the 1st time we're celebrating this special day as a triple-date! Thanks Wah & Yang for coming up with the BBQ idea. It was nice, had fun taking pics as well. Not forgetting our haunted house trip. *wiNkz*
Christmas Potluck @ Cam's place - 24th Dec 2007This was also the 1st time that we're having potluck! For the past few years, we have been celebrating christmas in town, joining in the crowds. Thanks Cam for coming up with the idea! N..N..thanks for your lovely cookies! =) We headed down to PS to watch "I'm Legend" like 2.10am after the celebration. HAha!

Dancepointe's Company Lunch @ MissU Cafe - 20th Dec 2007Congrats to Dancepointe, which has successfully expanded from only 1 branch in Taman Jurong to another in Jurong West & now, 1 in Sengkang as well. =) I am proud to be a member of this big family. =)
For this christmas, i didn't have much budget to get pressies for everyone. Thus, decided to bake. Chanced upon the "Snowball Cookies" receipe & thought it is ideal for the season. Had to rush for the baking because am filled with activties! Didn't bake enough on the 1st round, cos the receipe didn't say how many it is for, thus, rushed for a 2nd bake & ended up baking till 2am! However, had fun baking these cookies & most importantly, hope my friends like it. =)

Time check now: 3.00am...my flight to BBK is 11am, suppose to reach airport by 9am, time to wake up @ abt 6.30am. Though recovered from fever & flu, but am having sore throat & cough now. My immune system is weak...due to my late nights i guessed.
Nevetheless...baobei & i are so looking forward to the trip that we dun think we can sleep!! =) Afterall, it's the 1st time we are going this "far" away + also our 1st time taking plane together! YiPeE!
