Time passes quickly, another week is coming to an end. Managed to keep myself occupied these few days, at the same time, counting down to start of work next week.

Gathering with Hui & Cam - 3oth May

Met up with my girlfriends on 30th May - Wed for a shopping & KTV session. Since we did not decide on a concrete plan b4 we met up, I wasn't sure what we were going to do. Cam 's msg stated: "....dress up!" Ok..dress up? Hmm..i was thinking, everytime i go out with them, Hui & Cam are always wearing heels but i will be wearing flats. Therefore, i thought, since she mentioned dressing up, I wanna wear heels. Well..it was really a bad bad choice. Both of them turned up wearing flats & I was the only 1 with heels. That's not about it. This pair of heels that I am wearing, I am wearing it only for the 2nd time. 1st was during Chinese New Year, which don't need me to do much walking. Therefore, after deciding to go shopping, i knew my feets gonna suffer. & indeed, the heels gave me bad blisters...which prompted me to get something else to change into. Both girls still laugh..Hui still turned up in shorts..so..what's the dressing up about? Nvm..i told them..i will remember this..HAha. I have therefore, named that pair of heels, the "Killer Heels". Not that i look damn hot in it..but it nearly killed my feets. As the saying goes, 爱美不要命！

Well, apart from that..we had a fun day though. Due to my tight budget, I managed to restrain myself from buying anything, but Hui & Cam are the winners of the day, with big & small packages in their hands. =) Our boys came to join us for dinner after our KTV session @ Sakae Sushi. Had such a sumptous meal! =)..hope our next gathering will not be months later again..





Baking of Chocolate Chips Brownie Muffin - 29th May





My baking of Chocolate Chips Brownie Muffins was considered a partial success. Much room for improvements though. I didn't managed to find the "muffin cup" that I wanted to from my area. Therefore, subsitute it for a softer "cup". Thought because of that, the support wasn't strong enough for my muffins to raise higher. Instead, it went wider. (if you know what i am trying to refer to) Heez..that's the only downside of it. Taste wise, as suggested by it's name, Brownie Muffin, it has it's chewy sensation like brownie and spongy sensation like muffin. =)

Considering it's my first try @ baking with the help of the receipe only, I gave myself a pass, 5/10. Brought some over to dear's place & the family gave me face la..hEez..finished every pieces. Dear gave me 6.5 marks. Heez..my next bake shall be something cheesy. =)

Shall bring my sis to Bugis later, to meet up with Juan for the S.H.E thingy..b4 meeting up with dear for dinner. It's to the PC show tml..& am planning to watch Shrek. =)

P.S: Thanks Wah & her collegue! Without your help, I will not be able to find the song! =)
